Kendra the Dog needs a home
Kendra is unsure about people, but she really wants to trust them. She's always very happy to see Dogtown caregivers and volunteers, and her confident doggie roommate helps her feel brave enough to approach people. Sometimes she'll do a nervous little dance and back away from petting, but she always comes back to try again. Kendra was born in 2010 and came to Best Friends from a rescue organization that was closing its doors. She is steadily gaining courage and is working on accepting more affection from people and getting comfortable with being leashed. At the Sanctuary, her dog skills have been excellent. Kendra will make a fabulous addition to a household that is willing to let her blossom at her own pace.
